Array.prototype.sort() — Sorting non-ASCII characters

For sorting strings with non-{{Glossary("ASCII")}} characters, i.e., strings with accented characters (e, é, è, a, ä, etc.), strings from languages other than English, use {{jsxref("String.prototype.localeCompare()")}}.
